Yes! It's true!
I got my ticket from an airline's Piso Fare promo. My round trip plane fare was very cheap, of course!
Two months before our trip, I was contemplating on how to tell my friends that I was no longer going with them to Hongkong. I had some financial obligations.
For me, it would be better to let go of my cheap plane ticket than to spend some more when I go.
Then one day, my officemate shared to me her plans of buying a lot. She discovered that she would need some cash for downpayment. Then she told me about her stock investment, or our stock investment. I was the one who advised her to invest on stocks. I reminded her not to touch it because it was a long term investment. But she insisted.
That time we knew that the price of the stock we bought was soaring high. When we checked our stock investment, we were surprised to see it gained 300%. We bought it just a couple of months ago.
Then I remembered my trip. After counting my chicks, I decided to go on with my vacation and made a budget for my trip. I withdrew some part of my profit which was just enough for my expenses.
